WE STAND IN GRACE

Bible Text: "By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God." (Romans 5:2)

Life is full of dilemma, but having access to God give us assurance of standing firmed.

Grace is not a little prayer you repeat before receiving a meal it’s a way to live.

Like any other gift, the gift of grace can be yours only if you'll reach out and take it. Maybe being able to reach out and take it is a gift too.

Just like the case of our adversary, they were out of peace with God, but they were like drivers ignoring the red lights of a police car in their rear-view mirror - they are in trouble even if they don’t know it, and it will soon catch up to them.

Standing in grace means that “I don’t have to prove I am worthy of God’s love, God is my friend” The door of access is permanently open to Him, I am free from the “score sheet” - the account is settled in Jesus.

I spend more time praising God and less time hating myself. Martin Luther once said “Grace is given to heal the spiritually sick, not to decorate spiritual heroes”.

Our access into this standing of grace is only by faith, and through Jesus; we cannot work ourselves into this standing. The access isn’t just into a standing of grace, but into the very courts of heaven.
