WE ARE NOT CREATED TO BE IDLE

By: Oluwatunbi Stephen Akindayomi
If Not for God "devotional"

Bible Text: Whatever you do, do well. For when you go to the grave, there will be no work or planning or knowledge or wisdom. (Ecclesiastes 9:10)

Time flies. It's up to you to be the navigator. Get more done faster and easier than ever before, unlock the secrets to achieving all your goals and having more free time! No man ever served God by doing things tomorrow.

Solomon continued to give advice meant to make the best of the bad situation of life under the sun.

When God created us, He did not give anyone the key to a car or to a mansion. He did not tie certificates and degrees around anyone’s neck, no position was given to man from Heaven.

What God gave each and every one of us apart from our inborn potential is Time.

If you are reaping from your past mistakes, that does not still makes you a failure, there could be some error which need correction.

You can often find in rivers what you cannot find in the oceans, blaming your faults on your nature does not change the nature of your faults.

Do not blame God for having created the tiger, but thank him for not having given it wings.

Man was not created to be idle, he was not elected to be idle, he was not redeemed to be idle, he was not quickened to be idle, and he is not sanctified by God's grace to be idle. With great poetic effect, Solomon puts forth the belief that all existence and consciousness end with this life.

Simply say “Lord Jesus I pray today that every opposition power harassing me backfire now in Jesus name”.
