DON’T PERISHED IN THE WILDERNESS

Bible Text: "You must warn each other every day, while it is still “today,” so that none of you will be deceived by sin and hardened against God." Hebrews 3:13

How seriously do we take our responsibility to exhort one another daily, and to be exhorted?  We judge and criticize, but how well do we really exhort? If we have really become partakers of Christ, if we have really heard His voice, we will hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the end.

Hellen Keller said “Because I cannot do everything I will not refuse to do the something that I can do.” Halen became deaf, dumb, and blind shortly after birth. Despite her greatest misfortune, she has written her name indelibly in the page of the history of great.

Her entire life has served as evidence that no one ever defeated until defeat has been accepted as reality.

If we will strengthen our faith and avoid the ruin of unbelief, we must be around other Christians who will exhort us, that is, “seriously encourage” us.

We often say our hearts have been hardened by others or by circumstances.  But the fact is that we harden our own hearts in response to what may be done to us. No matter great you are, if you walk in the dark you will surely fall... But if God's word is a lamp unto your feet and a light for your path you won’t.

If patience is worth anything, it must endure to the end of time. And a living faith will last in the midst of the darkest storm. It is during our darkest moments that we must focus to see the light. Wait. Be patient. The storm will pass. The spring will come.
