PERSEVERING IN PRAYER

By: Oluwatunbi Stephen Akindayomi
Bible Text: Then Jesus told them, “I tell you the truth, if you have faith and don’t doubt, you can do things like this and much more. You can even say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen. You can pray for anything, and if you have faith, you will receive it.” (Matthew 21:21-22)

One of the most difficult aspects of prayer is persevering when it seems that God is not answering. Jesus instructed us to pray that the Father’s kingdom would come and His will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

We are going to face challenges, obstacles and suffering in this life but Jesus word made us be acquainted with pronouncement rather than climb the mountain.

Climbing weakens, it brings tiredness, it makes the heart weary and causes the body to weather.

Identify the biggest challenge or problem facing you today on the way to achieving your biggest goal. Imagine that it has been sent to test your resolve and desire.

Decide that you will never give up. Setting and achieving goals will determine your success and happiness more than any other skill you'll ever learn!

Nothing is too big for true faith to obtain, but that faith must have a promise to lean upon, faith is always the genesis of any answered prayer.

May you never lack all you need to be great in life in Jesus name.
