HEART THAT FORGIVE

Bible Text: O Lord, you are so good, so ready to forgive, so full of unfailing love for all who ask for your help. Listen closely to my prayer, O Lord; hear my urgent cry. (Psalm 86:5-6)

Love is not written on paper, for paper can be erased. Nor is it etched on stone, for stone can be broken. But it is inscribed on a heart and there it shall remain forever.

Many have been heartbroken but have you ever considering crying to God rather than grumbling and forming hate?

Remember His word “Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.” (Colossians 3:13).

When one thinks of how Christ forgave him or her this should make us much more generous with forgiveness. (Luke 23:34)

Once having forgiven, God puts His trust in us and invites us back to work with Him as co-labourers.

In the habit of men, one will not trust someone who has formerly wronged them.

Sometimes I wish I were a kid again; skinned knees are a lot easier to fix than a broken heart. Let the peace of Christ judge, decide, and govern in your hearts.

"It's one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself, to forgive. Forgive everybody."-- Maya Angelou

Prayer: Create a pure heart in me, O God, and put a new and loyal spirit in me In Jesus name.
